Palestinian caught with gun, knife in baby stroller
http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull&cid=1066113922689

Border Policeman arrested a Palestinian woman at the Hizma checkpoint north of Jerusalem on Tuesday after they found a knife and gun hidden in a baby stroller she was traveling with.

The woman, 20, from the village of al-Azzariyah, east of Jerusalem, claimed that she accidentally took the weapons from the cab she was traveling in.

Meanwhile on Tuesday, IDF Paratroopers arrested a wanted Tanzim militant in the West Bank village of Kadum, west of Nablus.
The man was reported to have hidden two explosive devices and a gun in his home garden.
.........................................................

first ambulances....now baby strollers....

probably her kid had a couple of extra guns and gave her one.

1. WTF is wrong with these people?

7. She's obviously lying
Edited on Tue Oct-14-03 03:20 PM by tinnypriv

This was reported this morning in Ma'ariv (just the sort of thing the Jpost likes, so I knew they'd pick it up), and according to the reporter (Glickman), she also had two ammo clips to go with it.

Hardly the sort of thing you "accidentally" pick up. :eyes:

ON EDIT: The story: http://images.maariv.co.il/channels/1/ART/559/566.html. There are a couple of comments saying this would make some cracking Hasbarah (comments 2 and 4). Looks like the Jpost staff surfers took the advice!

10. I didn't say one way or the other
It could be, but I don't see any way of finding that out from the sparse media reports. :)

What is clear is that she is lying. She said she accidentally picked up the weapons. That is obvious BS, thanks to the ammunition clip detail.

18. A clear attempt to interfere with Israel's right to kill Arab babies

There is no doubt that should the child have been targeted for "unfortunate and accidental death as a result of a close range tank shell," this distaff terrorist would have not hesitated to use these weapons on the most Moral and Humane beneficiaries of overtaxed low-wage US workers in the world.

25. You look for a rationalization
Terrorism has its own logic.

Who blows up cars in that area? Who sets off random bombs? That would be Hamas or Islamic Jihad or Fatah or maybe all three working together.

Which of the organizations you mentioned is free from Mossad embeds?

Please list the benefits that have accrued to non-Mossad members of each.

33. The technology used is common to Israel, while the Resistance might

wish they had it, they don't.

Unless you are suggesting that the Resistance has the most advanced weapons systems that they refrain from using out of concern for possible collateral damage?

Or that they are just showing extreme restraint, kind of like Saddam who just didn't launch any of his massive quantities of WMDs against the Crusaders who bombed him every other day for years?

35. How do you know?
What evidence do you have to support that?

Personally, I think it was a terrorist bombing originating from an organization such as Al Qaeda. However, I don't see how it is "clear as day."

41. The PA will do what it wants...
for propaganda. Who they say did it matters about as much as what Sharon ate for breakfast yesterday in deciding who actually did do it.

It was probably Al Qaeda procedures with perhaps a Paletinian operative.

37. I apologize for confusing the issue with facts
Edited on Thu Oct-16-03 04:20 PM by DuctapeFatwa
I do not deny that there are billions of people, all over the world, not just in Palestine, who would love to have the kind of advanced arms systems and robotics and boom-bling that the US has in its arsenal, including its weapons depot you call "Israel," but the fact is that they don't. And this is why you get those stupid Kassam rockets made with bubble gum and scrap metal, and kids strapping on belts and blowing themselves up.

Apparently you are laboring under the delusion that this is merely a question of choice and that if they wanted to, Palestine could just zoom a plane over the Apache parking lot and smush some helicopters.

Palestine doesn't even have any anti-aircraft guns! Don't you remember last week when you and the rest of Team Sharon were howling like shampooed cats at the thought that somebody in Gaza had even tried to get one?

edit to clarify this is a reply to Muddles, not Darranar, I just clicked the wrong box. :P

40. Oh those poor suicide bombers
Frankly, tools of "resistance" are fine. The problem is the Palestinian terror groups don't resist, they use terror. They deliberately kill women and children. That's not resistance.

And to do either, they have enough weapons already, as has been proven.
