77% of Israelis say no chance for peace with Palestinians
A poll conducted by the Berl Katzenelson center showed that 77% of Israelis do not believe there is a chance for peace with the Palestinians and 70% believe there is no partner for peace.

The polls revealed that despite the rocket attacks on the western Negev, some 40% of the public supports negotiations with Hamas. (Attila Somfalvi)

1. I hope...
that 23% of Israelis are right.

FWIW, I suspect that in the early 1990s, well over 77% of Brits would have thought there was no chance of peaceful resolution of the Northern Ireland conflict.
