As any of you who have ever read the Arab press or studied many Islamic newspapers might know, my father ruled the world. No, I don't mean personally. Obviously not. We're not stupid. He drove a cab and spent 35 years paying for a small house in a London suburb. But he did still rule the world.

Because in moments of danger and threat, the late Phil Coren became, yes, Super Jew! Not only my old dad, but every Jew in the world. They may be few in number, but their reach is long. If Jews don't run the world, why is it then that the United States, the world's most powerful nation, gives more aid to Israel, a first world country, than the whole of subsaharan Africa?

Because Israel has served American interests, and does serve PNAC's interests.

Why is it that we give them this aid while they stand in clear violation of International Law for over 35 years, occupying a foreign territory and running the worold's largest concentration camp?

Because the US is concerned with interests, not international law. International law only applies to small and weak nations.

Why is it that we give them this aid while it causes such hatred among Arabs that we end up with 911 in return?

It wasn't just this part of America's foreign policy that brought us 9/11; it was propping up dictators, installing puppets, ignoring other people while the US went crusading around the world...

And, btw, even if there really was such a pro-Israel domination of the world or the US, it would be in the form of extremist Zionists, not "Jews"...

Zionism is merely the belief that the creation and maintenance of a Jewish state is a positive goal. Beyond that, there's nothing monolithic about it. Uri Avnery is every bit as much a Zionist as is Benny Elon; yet they have very different views on how best to maintain Israel's security, how to solve the problem of the occupation of the Palestinian territories and of how Israel should fit into the international community.

The effects of which Mr. Arun speaks are the result of leading Americans believing, rightly or wrongly, that an alliance with Israel is in the best interests of the US, not the abundance of Jews in those leading positions.
