Ma'ariv: 3 Israelis killed in infiltration of Netzarim (Gaza)

Three Israelis were killed and two were wounded in an infiltratation at the settlement of Netzarim, in the central Gaza Strip, in the early hours of Friday morning.

According to Army Radio, two terrorists entered the settlement via the northern part of the security fence at around 4:20 A.M.

One of the gunmen, who were reportedly armed with grenades and machine guns, was killed by Israeli fire.

Large numbers of security forces launched a manhunt for the second gunman.

"Three Israelis were killed and several wounded in a terrorist attack carried out in Netzarim. The incident is not yet over," a security source said.

The wounded were flown in a military helicopter to Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon, the radio said. One of the two had sustained serious injuries, while the second suffered moderate-to-light wounds.
