After Gaza: Israel's last chance

Israel's failure to achieve its key objectives in the Gaza war is rooted in an exhausted and counterproductive security doctrine.

1. Unfortunately, Hamas's security doctrine seems to be holding up pretty well.

It seems to be:

1) Throw things at Israel tell they get really pissed off and attack
2) Run and hide while they are attacking, let Israel hit as many uninvolved people as possible
3) Let their numbers swell as pissed off previously uninvolved people join Hamas
4) Let things calm down for awhile then repeat from step one.

Sadly, its worked pretty damn well this far. :(

2. It would do you well to read alternative news

The places you are getting your news from are clearly one-sided. Is any dispute completely one-sided? No one is innocent here.

3. I am aware of the other side of things, but the bottom line is Hamas is winning this conflict.

I mean I go to Google news and the picture associated with news about Gaza is a wounded child. Israel has paid heavily in the court of public opinion for what sound like some really marginal gains here. I'm saying they need to re-evaluate their strategy.

4. I definitely agree, both sides need to re-evaluate their goals

Hamas's militant wing needs to be exiled to Damascus, just like much of the Israeli government need to be voted out of power. Then, both of these need to be tried for international law violations.
