Israel's military is turning to Hollywood to show its troops how not to act, according to an officer who admits that Israeli troops sometimes harm Palestinian civilians.

Lt. Col. Amos Guiora, commander of the army's School of Military Law, displayed a new software program Thursday that uses legal doctrine, clips from films like "Platoon" and quizzes on moral and ethical decisions to help guide troops in dealing with Palestinians.

"The pressure in terms of decision-making we're placing on these 19-year-old soldiers is absolutely incredible," Guiora said.
