Tom Daschle, a Casualty of War
Man did Daschle screw up, but he was also caught in this weird power struggle between parties, where the Republicans are trying to riddle holes in the Democratic Party's puritanical promises.

I like this article, but it is a bit opinionated. Do you guys think that despite his shortcomings, Tom Daschle is them only guy who can get Universal Health Care done?

1. Daschle was a big loss to Obama.
Nobody around here will get that.

This is a Huge setback for Univeral Health Care.

Whoever the replacement is will have to start way back on the board.
