Elections 2009 / Haaretz poll: Kadima, Likud neck and neck

Likud and Kadima are in a neck-and-neck race to be the next Knesset's largest party, according to the latest Haaretz-Dialog poll.

The poll, the last to be published before next Tuesday's election, showed the gap between the two parties continuing to narrow: It is now down to only two seats in Likud's favor.

Not to brag, but I've continually predicted that it would go down to the wire and Kadima would pull out the victory even when polls were showing Likud ahead by many seats.

Labor sets primary for tomorrow after computer failure

The Labor Party has postponed its primary election until tomorrow, after a series of technical malfunctions shut down its new touch-screen voting system yesterday. When party members return to vote again, they will use the old system - placing paper voting slips in envelopes and dropping them into cardboard ballot boxes, to be counted by hand.
