Exclusive: A flotilla of Palestinian Refugees to return to Palestine, “Israel”
Edited on Tue Jul-12-11 05:55 AM by shira
Paris, (Pal Telegraph) -After many attempts of sending Boats of aid to Gaza, solidarity with Palestinians seemed to grow to the peak. A controversial plan has been set by 9 European groups, 1 in Canada and 2 in the US to send Passenger boats boarded by huge number of Palestinian Refugees to their homes in occupied Palestine known as “Israel”

Well-informed sources told the Palestine Telegraph that a fund has been allocated for the purpose of the activity. The sources refused to release their identities in order not to damage the plans. They pledge that they will go to public soon and introduce themselves and their ideas. The groups are already active in their positions.

Activists will name the Flotilla as, “Ship your luggage, Return to Palestine”.

About the mechanism of the event, organizers refused to release extra information as it will only benefit Israel to bring the plans down. The organizers said that they are considering hiring a private passenger jet which accommodates scores of Palestinian Refugees.

The mask has now fallen. So much for the flotilla being about helping Gazans. The problem, as it always has been, is the very existence of Israel.

1. Yes...
...Im sure those jetsetters would have it much easier getting landing permission in Israel than their nautical cousines have getting a sailing permit from Greece.

2. Sometimes I think things I shouldn't say.
For instance, in this case I think Israel should welcome the Palestinians to historic Palestine.

They should then declare them "refugees" upon arrival, confiscate whatever passport they arrived using on the spot and issue them documentation appropriate for a Palestinian refugee in Gaza within 30 minutes; then immediately transport them (after a quick health inspection and body cavity search) and their luggage to Gaza. With an arrival at noon, they could happily be revelling in their new-found Palestine-ness as they dine in Gaza that night with their long-sought comrades. As Israel returns their passports to their consulates with a note, "Surrendered upon acceptance of Gazan residence and Palestinian refugee status."

Of course, if they tried to leave they'd have to present valid travel documents allowing them into Israel. Oh, well, if they don't have them any more. Perhaps they could write to their country of citizenship for a replacement passport.

3. Why is Israel in quotation marks?
Both in the headline and the body of the article.

6. Not too familiar with it
Certainly does not seem to be particularly fair and balanced, so to speak.
