Report: Turkey PM delays Gaza visit due to possible Israeli apology for 2010 flotilla raid
It is believed that Erdogan is using Gaza visit as bargaining chip to pressure Israel into apologizing for the killing of nine Turkish activists on the Mavi Marmara.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan are currently examining an agreement that was recently drafted to end the diplomatic crisis between the two countries, the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet Daily News reported.

According to the Hurriyet report, Erdogan has postponed a trip to the Gaza Strip due to the possibility that Israel will apologize for its May 2010 raid of a Gaza-bound flotilla in which nine pro-Palestinian Turkish activists died.

The report of a UN commission that investigated the circumstances surrounding the flotilla raid will be published on July 27.

On Tuesday, the Turkish newspaper Sabah reported that Erdogan had received a draft of the agreement to end the diplomatic crisis with Israel.

It is believed that Erdogan is using a Gaza visit as a bargaining chip to pressure Israel to accept an agreement that includes an apology for the killing of the flotilla activists.

9. Thanks Mr King....that was helpful.
Why do Muslims always cry and weep for the poor Palestians -- but they won't let them live in their countries?

Bingo, great question!

The Arab countries DO NOT GIVE A DAMN about the Palestinians, they want their suffering to last, forever. Using the Palestinians as pawns, is what it really is about, SO, the other Muslims can blame Israel, why? Because these Muslims want every Jew murdered and Israel driven into the sea. The numbers of Muslims who want every Jew killed, are not a tiny minority, like the liberal media (who sides with the Palestinians) wants you to believe.

The Palestinians could be taken, comforted, harbored and embraced by the other Muslim countries BUT the Muslims would rather use them as pawns, to use their suffering, to draw contempt on Israel.

What I will never understand, why Jews in the USA, side with the far left who has contempt for Israel and privately sides with the Muslims (like Hillary and Obama have slipped up to allow us to know their true feelings).

The difference between Israel and Muslim countries- Israel just wants to survive while the Muslims condone murder and terrorism (not all by any means but also not a tiny minority).

12. Lieberman aghast about possible apology to Turkey

By GIL HOFFMAN
07/22/2011 01:25

Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman expressed outrage on Thursday following reports that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was considering delivering a limited apology to Turkey over the deaths of nine Turks aboard the Mavi Marmara protest ship in May 2010...

He told his party’s ministers on Thursday that Netanyahu was about to once more capitulate to international pressure.

...

Channel 2 reported that Netanyahu was considering delivering a limited apology in exchange for recognition by Turkey of the legality of Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip and the halting of any legal action against the Israel Navy commandos involved. The apology would refer to “operational errors” that occurred during the operation.
