Norway foreign minister: "Israel is waterboarding the palestinian economy"

Palestinian PM, Norway decry Israeli fund freeze

Fayyad says taxes, fees Israel collects for PA 'our money'; Norwegian PM says freeze 'amounts to waterboarding an economy'

The Palestinian Authority is "fast approaching the point of being completely incapacitated" by Israel's refusal to hand over tax revenues belonging to the authority, Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said.

Israel's freeze on the taxes and fees it collects for the Palestinian Authority at borders has deprived the government of two-thirds of its normal revenue since Nov. 1, making it hard to pay salaries and fix infrastructure, Fayyad said.

Let´s see how long it takes for someone to play the anti-semite card. Maybe someone at the J Post will say how Norwegians deserved to get hit by Anders Breivik´s terrorist attack again.

3. If the money legally belongs to the Palestinians
I think that withholding (stealing) it, would be a war crime if it causes innocent people to die because of lack of care. What is so different about the war crimes committed by the Palestinians. Innocent people are harmed in both cases and if all human life is equal, both sides bear the guilt.

6. Why? They are strangling their economy, its economic torture.
I don´t see why thats such a bad way of describing it.

Maybe hooking up its nipples to electrodes and running 220 volts while having them stand in their own urine would be more accurate...

5. Norway foreign Ministers
Well most people here know that Israel is always justified and right in whatever and any thing at all they do,no matter what it is.

They are never wrong, and whatever they do to Palestinians is divinely justified.
If you have a problem with that, and dint see it that way, then you are indeed anti-Semitic,anti-Israel.
As you probably also know Nethanayu is terribly upset at the Arab spring,he would much rather the Arabs suffer under oppression of people like Mubarak, and Khadaffy, and the other tyrants getting overthrown that we have supported for decades, because that was better for Israel.
What he is saying is damn Arab freedom,he dint care anything about that,he just dint want any Arab leader who is going to put their own country's Interest before Israels

9. Everything said here is not true?
Please explain. Is forcibly holding money that does not belong to you a crime? Obviously "we" have no understanding of the truth. Please teach us, what the "truth" is concerning the money being held by Israel.
