Shalit Deal Terrorist Still in Hadassah Hospital
The terrorist who was released in the Shalit deal and was recently hospitalized at the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem is still in the hospital, Arutz Sheva has learned.

The story first came to light a few weeks ago, when the family of a Jewish man hospitalized at Hadassah told Arutz Sheva he had to share his room with a terrorist who was apparently shot in the course of IDF counter-terror activity. The terrorist is under constant police and IDF guard.

The relatives said they had been told that the terrorist was freed in the recent Shalit deal, and was recaptured after engaging in terror activity against Israel.

“No way should the hospital become a fortified terrorist prison,” said one family member. “This is total insensitivity. It’s uncomfortable to be inside such a room. A disgrace.”

Well, recidivism amongst terrorism is high. How is anyone surprised by him returning to terror.

1. I am thinking I wouldn't be able to sleep well
sharing a room with someone who would prefer to see me dead. If he is 'recaptured', then why isn't he under some kind of guard in a private room?

2. Israelis have a different moral code
If someone is injured, whether arab or jew, the Israelis will do their best to help them.

3. Because the story is most likely bullshit...
there haven't been any reports of gunfights that would have produced these kinds of injuries.

Additionally, only half the prisoners have been freed, and even then only about 90 of them to Israel or the West Bank (including East Jerusalem) - so the potential pool of people that this person could be from is quite limited, and about half of that number still are frankly too old now to be in the terrorism game any longer.

Arutz Sheva is the only newspaper publishing this story, with not a word appearing anywhere else. It is a lurid newspaper with very limited credibility for anyone outside the settler movement, basically a "National Enquirer" for Kahanist types. If there are no terrorist acts by nefarious Arabs to report, they just make some up.

Quite often salacious stories appear in Arutz Sheva and then disappear without a trace - there was a recent report for example that a person with an explosive hat tried to gain access to the tomb of the patriarchs. Despite such a salacious article, the hat bomber was never mentioned again.
