Rocket attack from south Lebanon draws Israeli artillery retaliation
RMAISH, Lebanon: Lebanese authorities confirmed Tuesday that one rocket fired from southern Lebanon landed in Israel overnight, prompting Israeli troops to retaliate by firing four artillery shells at Lebanese territory.

President Michel Sleiman condemned the rocket attack as a violation of Lebanese laws and Lebanon’s international obligations.

In the meantime, the militant Al-Qaeda-affiliated group Abdullah Azzam Brigades has claimed responsibility for the attack.

“On Tuesday morning 29/11/2011 a unit from Abdullah Azzam Brigades shelled Zionist settlements in north Palestine from south Lebanon and the missiles have hit their targets. Victory is but from God,” the El Nashra website quoted part of the statement which it claims had been sent as saying.

Lebanon and Israel swap rocket fire

Islamist group, Israel exchange rocket fire

Israel and Lebanon exchange rocket fire - video

Israel responded with artillery, not rockets.

:eyes:

If the media must force itself to report on something bad Hezbollah or Hamas does - to balance things it must also make up some moral equivalency that makes it appear Israel is just as bad.

In fact, that's the standard operating procedure of the anti-Israel crowd. Anything bad about Hamas or the PLO must be countered with some type of demonization of Israel. Anything to misdirect and run interference for the Palestinian victims (like Hamas) of pure Zionist evil.

6. Well if Israel would just stop defending themselves they could end the "Cycle of Violence".
