At least 18 hurt in explosion on Yehuda Halevy street in Tel Aviv

An explosion was heard on Yehuda Halevy street in Tel Aviv, close to Allenby street on Thursday afternoon.

Magen David Adom reported that at least 18 people were injured in the explosion.

A witness told Israel Radio that the explosion took place inside a
foreign currency exchange booth .

9. Interesting little tidbit of a response by some IDF soldiers

Apparently they smashed most of the windows of the Palestinian Taxis in the Taxi rank by the Nablus-Git checkpoint, as "retaliation", when they heard of the "attack".

Amusingly, that checkpoint is essentially to protect an illegal settlement in the area. I don't believe anyone monitors it though.
