Egypt Foreign Minister Arrives in Israel
(HELP-Did this FM just get attacked ? 10am central)

The source said the meeting had gone very well, and that Maher indicated that the talks could lead to a summit between Sharon and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak--something Mubarak has avoided since the Sharon, a career hardliner, came to power in 2001.

3. At least they are consistent
If they don't like you, they attack you even if you are Muslim. How dare people who disagree with them be near the holy site.

5. The Muslim equivalent of a pie in the face
Officials said dozens of worshippers inside the mosque threw shoes at him -- an Arab sign of disrespect.

I guess he got off easy, seeing what usually happens to so-called collaborators.

7. Gee
I guess being hospitalized isn't that big a deal if you're interested in Peace with Israel.

The PA should be arresting everyone involved. But they won't.

Israel will arrest them and somebody here will be sure to say how unfair that is.

(BTW: later news reports say it was an organized attack by a fundamentalist Moslem group. - Gee, real religious people, attacking someone in a holy place for seeking peace.)
