6. Concocted ideal?
And what concocted ideal would that be? That every member of the UN should abide by international law, not just the ones who don't happen to be buddies of the US?

5. Most of those are NOT terrorist attacks.
December 16: Shooting attack on Israeli soldiers in Jenin ... Shooting attack on Israeli soldiers in Tulkarm ... Bomb attack on Israeli soldiers near Netzer Hazani

All justified by international law. Occupation forces are a legitimate target and can be killed legally.

December 17: Shooting attack on Israeli soldiers in Shechem (Nablus).

Legitimate target. Palestinians are perfectly justified in killing Israeli soldiers.

December 18: Bomb planted near Israeli soldiers in Shechem (Nablus) ... Bomb attack on the Israeli Army's Herdon outpost, near Rafiah ...

Yep, all legitimate. Palestinians can legally kill as many Israeli soldiers as they can.

Shooting attack on Israeli motorists in the Hebron Hills; one wounded.

If the attack was aimed specifically at unarmed civilians, then it is a war crime. If on the other hand there were armed civilians, or IDF troops intermingled with civilians and the attack was not directed at unarmed civilians but armed civilians and IDF troops, then it is a legitimate target with collateral damage (or so say the IDF and US Military).

Grenade attack on Israeli soldiers near Rafiah

Legitimate target.

Bomb attack on motorists near Morag ... Attacks on Israeli motorists near Beitar Ilit; four wounded.

As above, if the attacks were aimed specifically at unarmed civilians, then they are a war crime. If however the attacks were aimed at armed civilians or IDF forces they are legitimate.

December 19: Shooting attack on Israeli soldiers in Gaza.

December 20: Shooting attack on Israeli soldiers in Gaza.

All legitimate targets.

December 21: Four mortar rocket attacks on Jewish neighborhoods in Gush Katif ... Mortar rocket fired at Dugit.

December 22: Shooting attack on Netzarim ... Shooting attack on Kadim ... Terrorist intercepted while planning a suicide attack in Ramat Gan.

Once again, if the attacks were specifically aimed at unarmed civilians then they are a war crime. If on the other hand they were aimed at paramilitaries (armed civilians) or IDF troops then they are legitimate and any unarmed civilians are merely collateral damage (as the IDF and US military would say).

So in other words, this list is totally useless because all attacks it mentions are either legitimate, or do not provide enough information to determine whether a crime has occurred. Israeli civilians (especially militant settlers in the Occupied Territories) are very often armed, and thus legitimate targets in war.

Being told a civilian was shot doesn't tell you anything, because there is a high probability that he would be armed and thus a valid target.

7. Exactly Devils Advocate NZ!
All those armed Israelis (IDF or not) in the OT are legitimate targets! They shouldn't have been there in the first place! So just as Israel justifies killing any armed Palestinian so do the Palestinians have the right to defend themselves and push the occupier out of their land!

The PA/PLO will keep on and the UN will keep on passing resolutions condemning Israel for it. :silly:

16. Good question!
Israel is surrounding by multiple Arab entities, she is smaller than Rhode Island...pull back on the map and adjust it for accuracy (use a key, for example).

You are absolutely correct: Arabs should not feel threatened in any way. However, for Israel, created by the UN in the center of enemies, that's a different story. Just imagine having all your surrounding nations make war upon you as you are just celebrating your new country. But, David won that time and hopefully she will again...the next time the surrounding Arab states feel it's safe to descend and make war upon her all of them at the same time.

18. Let me make it clear then:
The Blue area is that area that these people call the current Israel, and includes ALL of the Occupied Territories. The yellow area is the area these people call Eretz Israel, and is the Israel they want and are working to make come about.

They claim god gave them all this land, and that it is their right to take it back.

You may notice that the yellow area includes quite a few Arab nations. Now we know how Jews feel about Israel being a Jewish country, and we know that they therefore feel that Jews must be the majority in Israel, so exactly what do they expect to do with the TENS OF MILLIONS of Muslims living in the countries that are earmarked to be absorbed into Eretz Israel?

Why should Arabs feel threatened? Because Their very existence is being threatened by this desire to create Eretz Israel.

Granted that this is not the current policy of the Israeli Government (at least that's the way it seems, but with all the pressure on the US to attack these very same nations - Iraq, Syria, even Saudi Arabia - maybe it is) but who is to say if someone even worse than Sharon (if there is such a person) might come along?

Israelis are constantly bragging about how powerful the IDF is, and how it could take on ALL the Arabs at once and win, and yet you think the Arabs have nothing to fear?

You and I know that Arabs have every right to be scared shitless of the IDF, and with desires such as Eretz Israel floating around, that fear is MORE than justified.

Add to this the fear that Israel's greatest ally - the US - might fall into line with this plan (as it could be claimed to be doing under Bush) then it is completely stupid to pretend that Arabs have nothing to fear.

11. If the week you listed above is any indication...
That number is GREATLY inflated.

Of the 17 incidents listed in the original post, only 8 can in any way be called terrorism.

Attacks on soldiers or military bases ARE NOT TERRORIST ATTACKS.

Based on the ratio of the original post the numbers would about HALF what you are claiming, and that is without factoring in whther attacks on apparent civilians were in fact attacks on Israeli paramilitary forces (that is, armed civilians - escpecially those in occupied territory) which are also NOT terrorist attacks.

Sorry drdon326, but Israeli propaganda is no more believable than Palestinian propaganda.

If you really want anyone to believe you, perhaps you should compile the list of Israeli attacks on Palestinians during the same time period and the numbers killed. Or does that number give a totally different picture than the one you are trying to portray?

14. And Israel agreed to dismantle the settlements...
How's that going exactly? What's that? You say new ones are being built every day? Well, why should the Palestinains use THAT as an excuse not to hold up their end of the bargain...

After all, we all know that Israel can do whatever it wants - including murder civilians - and only anti-semites would think there is anything wrong with that!

20. The lack of suicide bombings...
has given rise to a string of pathetic attempts to create media noise to counter the actions of the GOI.

This is one of those attempts.

21. And a lame attempt
Attacking military units is legitimate. Especially those occupying your own land. Just as those that were occupied during WW2 resisted and rightly so...
