A Palestinian blown up in a "work related incident" when his car blew up Wednesday night in the Ras-el Ein neighborhood of Nablus has been identified by Army Radio as Alwan Hirleh, who was allegedly involved in shooting incidents September, in which 3 IDF soldiers were wounded.
In the explosion, which occurred near an electronics factory, the burned body of what was believed to be a male teenager was found inside a car belonging to a Palestinian.
The cause of the explosion wasn't immediately known, but Palestinian sources told Ynet that explosives carried in the car blew up prematurely.
Palestinian sources earlier told Ynet that the man killed was a youth used by Hamas terrorists in the city. They named the Palestinian as 17-year-old Ilwan Akarbawi. The car exploded in Nablus' Ras Al-Awin neighborhood, near the city's Kasbah.
