I think your post assumes that Israel can do anything that will end terror. I don't believe that to be the case.

That means that all Israel can do is limit terror and it is doing an effective job of that through periodic military action and building the Peace Fence.

Killing combatant leadership in a war is, under the rules of war that people keep telling me is what we should use to discuss I/P is considered a perfectly legitimate wartime action.

Killing civilians by intentionally targeting them with no military target involved is a war crime under the same rules.

Saying the two are equivalent is saying that war crimes should be excused if Palestinians do them.

Was that simple enough?

So let me make it clearer for you. This *is* a tit-for-tat cycle of violence. You hit us, we hit you kind deal (see also - chicken and the egg scenario). It is not working. Lot's of people are dead that shouldn't be. It's getting worse. Ergo - tit-for--tat ain't working REGARDLESS of the lame 'moral equivalancy' arguments (ie: when *our* side kills one of them, it is somehow more *okay* than when they kill one of ours. The bottom line is one of *OURS* is going to be dead).

Of course, now we start using terms like collateral damage, unfortunate civilian casualties, etc, etc, etc. Lame arguments. Lots of dead people.

And dude, let me point out - I never once even mentioned who I sided with, so relax on attempting to tell me that I think the " death of Israeli civilians really isn't that important" or accusing me of "defending the murder of civilians". That's a swipe at me that is more than a little uncalled for. I abhor the uneccessary death of *ANYONE*.

The attack at the bus stop in Tel Aviv came too soon after the IDF attack on militants to be a response to it. The PFLP said it was in retaliation for one of their men killed last week.
