Israeli undercover forces killed a senior Al-Aksa Martyrs Brigades commander in Jenin Thursday.

According to reports, the a border police undercover unit attempted to arrest Assad Haliya near Jenin's town hall.

The unit carried out its arrest procedure, but killed Haliya when he tried to escape.

The 'Mistaaravim' (soldiers disguised as Arabs) is an elite unit of the Border Police and is at the forefront of Israel's counter-terrorism operations.
