Major projects displace people. It happens. Roads, stadiums, fences all displace people for the greater good.

We need roads. We need bridges. Many places CHOOSE to build stadiums. And, in the case here, Israel NEEDS the fence for security for both peoples.

A Palestinian who has been displaced in order to build a road might appreciate it better if he were permitted to travel on it. He might also appreciate it better if he were part of the decision-making process that mandated he should be displaced for the road.

There is no way that system can be justified. It is wrong.

14. You know, I see the same complaints in the news here in the U.S.

The Peace Fence is not a road. It is a security device. You can't really "use" it. It exists for the safety of the majority.

And no, when governments take actions like that, you don't get a say in the matter. That said, I would fight strongly for anyone so impacted to be legally compensated for land taken by emminent domain.
