Blast Rips Through Shopping Area in Central Israel

JERUSALEM -- An apparent suicide bomber detonated an explosion outside a supermarket in central Israel Tuesday, shattering a summer of relative calm since a cease-fire by Palestinian militants on June 29.

As many as ten people were injured, one seriously, the Zaka rescue service said. Rescue workers found a body at the scene believed to be that of the bomber.

The blast sparked a large fire in the supermarket in the town of Rosh Haayin, just outside Tel Aviv. Firefighters with breathing equipment pulled casualties out of the shattered store.

7. If I remember correctly, there was a 'targeted killing'

by Israel a couple of days ago against Hamas; at that point Hamas said there would be retribution. Looks like this is it. Now we get to see what happens from here.

8. Incorrect

The IDF unit was deployed to arrest a wanted terrorist of Hamas in Nabulus. An IDF soldier was killed after troops surrounded the house where the terrorists were hiding. The terrorists opened fire, killing the soldier first, later four terrorists were killed. That is not a "targeted killing". That is an attempted arrest which resulted in a fire fight.
