"Jordan is considering suing Israel for monies seized during the Israel Defense Forces raids on Ramallah banks in the end of February, Jordanian government spokeswoman Minister Isma Khader said on Monday.
According to the Jordanian claims, the money taken from Ramallah branches of the Arab Bank and the Cairo-Amman Bank belongs to Jordanians.
Khader said the IDF raids violated international laws and the Israel-Jordan peace agreement.
"We are discussing the possibility of taking legal steps against the Israeli actions against the Jordanian banks in Palestine," Khader said."

"Prof. Aryeh Eldad on Monday turned to State Attorney General Menahem Mazuz concerning information that he learned the government is planning to return NIS 40 million in terrorist earmarked funds to a Ramallah bank.
Eldad rejected such a move, adding it is unacceptable that soldiers were placed in life-threatening danger and two weeks later, the monies are returned to terrorists in a behind the scenes move."
