Jordan may sue Israel for monies confiscated in Ramallah

"Jordan is considering suing Israel for monies seized during the Israel Defense Forces raids on Ramallah banks in the end of February, Jordanian government spokeswoman Minister Isma Khader said on Monday.


According to the Jordanian claims, the money taken from Ramallah branches of the Arab Bank and the Cairo-Amman Bank belongs to Jordanians.

Khader said the IDF raids violated international laws and the Israel-Jordan peace agreement.

"We are discussing the possibility of taking legal steps against the Israeli actions against the Jordanian banks in Palestine," Khader said."

1. I wish the US would turn over Achmed Chalibi to Jordan.

He was convicted of stealing millions from a Jordanian bank, and he didn't even use IDF forces as bank robbers--he just embezzeled it.

Jordan is an ally of the US in the Middle East. Yet Chalabi was being groomed by the Pentagon to be the next Saddam Hussein, so the US protects him. This, despite all the lies that came from Chalabi and his INC cohorts about Iraq's WMDs.

Why must does the US always seem to support the wrong people: Hussein, bin Laden, Marcos, Sharon and now Chalabi?
