A young Palestinian man from East Jerusalem, wounded after security forces fired a rubber-coated bullet at him in the first week of the intifada, will receive NIS 2.5 million compensation from the state, the Jerusalem District Court decided in a ruling made public Thursday.

Mohammed Juda was 16 years old when he was hit in the head by the bullet during clashes on the Temple Mount in autumn 2000, and has been paralyzed from the neck down ever since.

However I would have to stipulate that the fence not be constructed so as to further incite hostility.

5. If the hostiles want to kill you, and the fence makes them even more

hostile because then they can't kill you, then your stipulation is impossible.

You can't control every factor, but you can lessen some hostility-inducing factors, such as building the fence on 'disputed territory'.

7. AFAIK, those aren't permanent boundaries. If the PA ever decides to get

serious about negotiating, they'd find the Israelis willing to move them.

9. Not really. Contrast Israeli vs. Palestinian public opinion, it's not hard

to tell which side is more amenable to compromise.
