Israel is embarking upon a more aggressive approach to the war on terror that will include staging targeted killings in the United States and other friendly countries, former Israeli intelligence officials told United Press International.
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has forbidden the practice until now, these sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
The Israeli statements were confirmed by more than a half dozen former and currently serving U.S. foreign policy and intelligence officials in interviews with United Press International.(more)

We need to make it very clear that Israel will not be permitted to stage assassinations in our country. If the Israelis have reason to believe that there are terrorists living in the US they can provide us with their intelligence and WE will find and turn the fugitives over to Israel. Allowing a foreign nation to conduct assassinations within our borders is absolutely not permissable. Israel has sometimes fucked up these jobs and killed innocent civilians or killed someone who they thought was a terrorist, but ended up being a nobody. I can just see it know, Israeli agents target a "known" Arab terrorist in Dearborn, Michigan, but then they screw it up and they end up offing a white soccer Mom from the suburbs. Israel would lose all support in this country, as it should if it does something so screwed up. I would expect such agents to be brought to justice in America, and possibly given the death penalty.
