Arafat slams Sharon's new 'apartheid system'
Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat has slammed Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon for creating "a new apartheid system" with the construction of a wall in the occupied West Bank and around eastern Jerusalem.

In a televised message to a landmark United Nations conference on Palestine in Cape Town, Arafat said Sharon was talking about a disengagement plan on the one hand but his troops continued to kill Palestinians on the ground.

At the same time, Sharon's government was violating international laws such as the Geneva Convention and the international declaration of human rights daily.

as the head of the al asqa murder brigade shouldnt be talking about violating the geneva convention. if you want for others to follow the geneva rules, you have to do so yourself.
