UN: 24 Palestinian children killed since Sept. 28

Twelve United Nations organizations working in Gaza on Wednesday stated that the ongoing violence on top of the sharply deteriorating humanitarian situation this year is pushing the Palestinian population into a deep crisis.

The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the Gaza Strip said that 24 Palestinian children have been killed since the start of Israel's anti-Kassam operation in north Gaza seven days ago.

"Since 28 September 2004, 82 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza including 24 children; five Israelis have been killed including two children. During 2004, approximately 45 Palestinians have been killed each month in Gaza and poverty rates are predicted to rise to 72 per cent," the UN statement said.

2. last year i believe the total was about 980 children, and a

disproportional amount of them shot flat in the temple with rubber bullets, many of witch it is said had little rubber on them. I saw in a documentary that the temple shot is the only sure way to kill a child... the bullets can take off an arm or leg but the temple shot is a pretty sure thing.

the documentary showed film of snipers shooting children throwing rocks in the street about 100 yards from the snipers or anyone else. the snipers were apparently being told to shoot specific targets, the radio man would listen then tell the sniper something..he would look through a REALLY BIG scope on a heavy long barreled rifle.. then say something to to the radio man who talked for a while then told the sniper something... the sniper fired and a child maybe 6 or 8 went down and was carried away.

i and my mother were horified.. her attitude about Israel really changed.

all those childrens fathers, brothers, uncles, grandfathers, neighbors, cousins, etc, etc etc..are now potential suicide bombers.

The only problem with an eye for an eye is that pretty soon everybody is blind.

4. The biggest disappointment from Kerry and Edwards

So far they have been doing everything right(in my book) but the way they are going 100% for Israel is scary. What Edwards said about the children dying while he visited Israel was pretty ignorant since over a dozen Palestinian children have died in the last 3 days by the Israeli troops.

My jaw fell out when he said his comment about Israel last night, did anybody else feel the same way?

I think if we are to ever "win the war" on terrorism we need to start by creating peace in that region which benefits both sides. They only terrorism Iran participates in is by arming what they believe to be the innocent Palestinians against the genocide by Israel.

they were terrorists, the IDF does not shoot anyone else on purpose and it deeply regrets any unfortunate incidence of civilians getting injured in the crossfire but you know these kids aren't really innocent anyway, if you throw a rock at a tank then you are endangering brave IDF soldiers lives and they have to act in self defence, and if they're going to walk home from school through the OT well then really it's the paernts fault for not living in Jordan which is where we know they really come from. (heavy sarcasm disclaimer)
