Several days after Chief of Staff Moshe Ya’alon expressed concern about the erosion of IDF moral values and called on soldiers to speak out about their moral dilemmas while serving in the territories, it is again suspected that operational probes suffer from false reporting and a severe lack of credibility.

Following harsh criticism on the credibility of the operational probe in the case of the alleged verification of death of a Palestinian girl in Rafah, voices were heard calling for the removal of investigations from the army to external bodies.
NRG Maariv has learned about a cover-up in a case in which two Golani Division soldiers were accused of killing a Palestinian at an army roadblock.
