My take on the web fairy is that they knew eventually someone would notice the planes were "off", so web fairy always brags about how she noticed right away and some say say how amazing it is that she got her site up so fast. The reason I think they did this was to "own" the plane fakery. IOW, she uses unconvincing evidence and she talks about really silly things (plane huggers, cloaked orbs, whatsitz, etc...) I mean she just doesn't sound credible and so people started ridiculing "no plane" right away so that by the time others figured out that something was wrong the false opposition would say Oh that is kooky disinfo, etc... well, it is disinfo but not because the actual information is wrong, the way she is presenting it is wrong. all you have to do is look at the footage from that day, if you don't have CNN Pipeline, As It happened videos from that day are on Youtube Look at the images on the link, you can see they are edited, and the area around the plane is different than the rest of the background.
