Craig Bartmer, NYPD first respondent
Random notes -
Former Bush Supporter. Melted 5 pair of boots. He has post traumatic stress disorder and a collapsed lung. It sounds like he didn't go until that afternoon. He witnessed wtc7 fall and ran from it. He says he heard a lot of explosions, thoom, thoom, thoom, et al....9-11 Commission is a farce, the steel disappeared really fast, he said there were rumors that the mob was stealing it ...It was not treated like crime scene. He said it was cleaned up - FAST! No one is getting any money from health problems caused that day. His buddy had clothes analyzed and there was something like 98,000 times the amount of asbestos (PULL IT!) and other metals, in the clothes.
He said he was right there when 7 came down and there was no warning, hardly any fires, hardly any smoke, just suddenly "it's coming down, get out of the way!" 70% responders sick, people afraid to say anything. Why was Dick Cheney in charge of NORAD? Only thing incompetent is the cover up. Of course they could do 9-11 look at the resources these people have...He says he is not offended that people want to get to the truth, he is a victim and he is not offended and neither are the families of the other victims so stop using that as an excuse...

1. Here's another reference to 'melted boots'
that I happened across yesterday.

Once we got to New York, the MITAC bus driver took us downtown to St. Paul's, the chapel at the edge of Ground Zero. A frowning N.Y.P.D. officer approached, saying, "You can't stop here."

"Wait!" I said. "We have work boots." I opened the first cargo bin. "See?"

The frown immediately became a smile. "Oh! Okay."

The police officers cleared a path through the crowd, so our 38 MIT volunteers could carry donations into the church.

The boots were especially needed. The eight-story pile of twisted steel and debris was still smoldering after two months, and the heat was melting the soles on the workers' boots.

Once inside, we learned there was a waiting list for boots. One recipient did an impromptu dance, singing "I Have Happy Feet." Another insisted we take a picture of his feet in the new boots.

Overall, the fuss was disconcerting. Boots meant that much? Worker after worker came over to thank us, several saying, "Thank you for remembering us."

So 2 months after the attack, the site was still hot enough to melt people's boots. This is after hosing it down on a daily basis. What the hell was in this pile that was still that hot, for that long?

2. Don't be using MIT as a source 'round here...
Didn't you know? They're part of the Bush cabal, and are wholly funded by Raytheon.

It's true. I read it on the internets.

3. I would want to distract from the OP, too, if I were you..heh heh...
and, I am interested in your post. Could you please direct me to the source that says MIT is part of the "Bush cabal"? and could you please direct me to the source that says that MIT is "wholly" funded by Raytheon? Thank you, I know that you are always honest in your representations of what others say, so it shouldn't be a problem for you to provide that information.

The poster may not have spelled it out quite so explicitly, but the implication was clear.

Not only was it said....it was said by mirandapriestly...

10. You can't see how he misrepresented my words?
I knew that is what he was referring to. I also knew he was MISREPRESENTING what I said. Raytheon DOES fund MIT, I did not say it WHOLLY funded it, I did not say it was part of the BUSH CABAL either. The wording is clearly different with the intent of smearing me. God, grown men/women doing stuff like this? how embarrassing for you! (not to mention desperate)

17. Yes, what you wrote was misrepresented
and, I know you won't fall for phony concern for you about being "manipulated". Funny that this concern just now surfaces. Wonder why.

4. There were a lot of eyewitness reports of explosions. Very curiuos. I haven't
seen an OCT account that ever honestly and openly addressed this issue.

I've seen it downplayed, I've seen it explained away as mass hysteria, I've seen pancaking floors and and kitchens all used to try to shrug off the fact that a lot of people heard, saw, felt, or heard and saw and felt what they described as explosions.

That seems like pretty strong evidence to think, gee, I wonder if there were secondary explosions. But not strong enough, apparently, that anybody at NIST thought to test for it.

21. But not by many who think it was a controlled demolition today.
In fact, as anyone who follows your link will see, many of the quoted witnesses make clear that they don't think explosives were used to demolish the towers. Some of those clarifications you had to cut out of the quotes so that you could misrepresent them. I've made that quite clear in the responses.

27. Demonstrated how I twisted what those witnesses said...
...and how they're actually saying something else.

For god's sake, YOU are the one quoting them and clipping out the parts that prove you wrong!

22. Has anyone asked HOW MUCH WOULD IT HAVE COST TO DESTRUCT
THE WTC? I mean Silverstein would have had to PAY to have them demolished as opposed to his collecting 3 billion on his insurance policies whith only his 200 million investment? What return on investment is that?
