Poll question: Will you be using the super-ignore function?
Personally I won't be using it. I know HamdenRice has a thread going but I think we could do with a poll, and an OP that doesn't insinuate some persons are trolls.

Hope2006 can reply to me anytime. :)

12. That's the funny part. The 'oh so abused' victims weren't using ignore either....
..... apparently. Now that they can block others from speaking? Well THAT'S a different story. Believe it or not, I'm beginning to like the feature - Although, I'll only block someone who blocks me. The first person to block me was some freak who can't resist calling everyone she disagrees with 'bush supporters' anyway....now she has a lap-dog who follows in her footsteps. Like Skinner said, you don't want to have a dialog with people like that anyway.

13. That's an interesting observation.
Why, if they felt so abused before, did they not use the ignore function then but suddenly use it now as a tool to shut other people up? Seems kind of inconsistent.

14. I doubt that I will use it but
i might consider it in unusual circumstances like if, for instance, it turns out that certain posters are using it to block a large number of people in order to stifle dissenting opinion and they could use a good dose of their own medicine.

15. I'll use it or not. It depends. But I see nothing inherently wrong with it, nor would
Edited on Sat Jan-13-07 10:17 PM by John Q. Citizen
I try to characterize someone because they chose to use it or not to use it as being "good" or "bad," or any other thing in between.

I'm not a mind reader, after all.
