Who has gone up elevators in large buildings the elevators do not go all the way up to the top in one long continuous
trip up. There are stages. So that means even if a fireball did go down the shaft it would have run into the top of elevators before it got to the ground floor.
Plus if you watched the vid the people in the lobby died from glass in the lobby being blown out from explosions.
According to the witness who was actually there.
But I am sure some of you will no more about what really happened than someone who was there..sigh

There was at least one that went to Windows of the World at the top.

And there were several that died from the fireball blowing out of the elevator banks, one being a security guard who was sitting across from the entrance. I believe the phrase was "melted into his seat."

There was a lady there screaming that she didn’t know how she got burnt. She was just in the lobby and then next thing she knew she was on fire. She was burnt bad. And somebody came over with a fire extinguisher and was putting water on her.

That’s the first thing that got me. That and in front of one of the big elevator banks in the lobby was a desk and I definitely made out one of the corpses to be a security guard because he had a security label on his jacket. I’m assuming that maybe he was at a table still in a chair and almost completely incinerated, charred all over his body, definitely dead. And you could make out like a security tag on his jacket. And I remember seeing the table was melted, but he was still fused in the chair and that elevator bank was melted, so I imagine the jet fuel must have blown right down the elevator shaft and I guess caught the security guard at a table, I guess at some type of checkpoint.

If, as someone said, that there were charred people in the lobby, it must have been one hell of a flash. Very intense and very hot. Makes me think that maybe there was some kind of flash that wasn't an air fueled flash. Because, common sense tells ya that an air fueled fire would ignite all combustibles and there is no evidence of that.

What kind of an explosive could do that? One simply has to ask that question, eh?
