The advantage of the WCR is it provides a consistent, coherent account of that day that is corroborated by the physical evidence and, through the convergence of evidence, unmistakably points to LHO.

On the other hand, we have a bunch of disparate CT's that have JFK being shot about 140 times by 60 or more people from every conceivable angle within Dealey Plaza. Simple question: why can't the "assassination community" converge on a unified, cohesive theory that can be falsified? Hint: because you're trying to solve a crime that's already been solved. You would think LBJ was FDR or something the way the RW'ers continually attack him. Barr McClellan is the latest of those seeking to attack the full legacy of LBJ. They claim it conspiracy, but in truth it almost always centers around his Presidency's legacy Civil Rights legislation. Same type of indirect attacks against FDR due to his New Deal and the same type going against Obama, though most of those against Obama are much more naked in their racism.

Knowing the back story of all the hate directed towards LBJ by the country-club conservative types here in Texas, any conspiracy theory involving him has a lot of 'splainin' to do.

If I wasn't working too many hours at work, it would be interesting to draw up the parallels of LBJ as a proto-Obama, particularly around the reactions of both the Progressive and Conservative sets. The Progressives hated him because of his War in Vietnam (Afghanistan) and the Cons hated him because of his stand on Civil Rights (Health Care).

It's only in the last couple of years that I've come to fully appreciate his legacy.

He was, of course, the original JFK assassination conspiracy theorist, as his immediate concern was that it was some sort of command decapitation attack, and he wanted to get out of Dallas and in the air asap.

His behavior and statements in the immediate aftermath of the shooting don't support the idea that he was a perp here, but somehow that gets conveniently airbrushed out of the picture by some.
