On the majority of Internet discussion boards, there exist cadres of members whose purpose is to troll posts for any mention of observations that jet aircraft are deliberately creating artificial cloud cover.

When they find such posts, they immediately leap upon them with snark, ridicule and derailing of anything approaching rational discussion. With either the tacit or overt approval of Site Owners, they succeed in discouraging curious posters and relegating OPs to the realm of "Conspiracy Theories."

Yet they offer not an ounce of proof that the jet trails are water vapor.

You asked for proof of water vapor. I provided you with an analysis of how persistent contrails are formed under known atmospheric conditions. You seem to have a non sequitur in response.

At altitudes of 30,000 ft, some severe conditions exist, among other things winds of over 200mph. So, before those chemicals can drift to the ground, they may have been blown hundreds of miles away! Not exactly useful if you want even the slightest control of where you spray or how much.

To regularly spray an area like the USA, and the chemtrail people claim it happens most every day, you would need hundreds of planes in constant operation. Specially built or modified planes. Each plane requiring pilots, ground-crew, maintenance crew. Thousands of tons of fuel and chemicals would have to be purchased and distributed.

The chemtrail operation would involve thousands of people, many of which would have to know exactly what went on, others would have an excellent chance to put two and two together. People whose friends and families would be among the victims. How long would you guess it would take for it to leak?

20. Ah, something you need to know about chemtrailers...

Those few times that some have bothered to stick around and explain, instead of doing drive-bys, it has become clear that they don't understand how much of the "sky" is visible to them. Figure, since I can see about an entire hemisphere of stars at night, then I must be seeing an entire hemisphere of atmosphere during the day.

The best one ever, IMHO, was a guy who said that the trails tended to concentrate "I'm the area of the sky where the sun is", apparently not understanding that the sun is not in the same "area of the sky" for everyone. It's as of the chemtrails were designed for him personally.

So, yes, if the OP sees a few vapor trails that spread out in his/her vicinity, then it is "cloud cover".

I personally own an umbrella which can shade half of the planet, pretty much the same way.
