"Er, make that five thousand a day." BP
'There is no evidence of an underwater plume" BP
Please feel free to add to this list that gives evidence that there never was a conspiracy of BP to mislead our scientists, our government and it's people.

1. How do you measure a oil leak flowing out of a broken |
|
well 5000 feet below the surface of the water? I'm curious as I have no clue how one could measure such a thing. Do you?

2. You don't start by banning Woods Hole scientists |
|
from investigating. As you probably know, they were all set to visit the site and BP shut them down the day before their visit. Also, BP waited three weeks to release the footage and only did so under intense pressure from Washington to release the footage. At that point independent scientists had little trouble determining a more realistic estimate.
