Wabash Valley activists look to shine light on 'real' events of 9/11

TERRE HAUTE — Nine years after the Sept. 11 attacks rocked America, a group of local activists say the truth of what happened that morning is still unknown.

“It’s blatantly obvious that no airplane crashed there,” John Martin said, referring to the destruction leveled at the U.S. Pentagon that morning in addition to the World Trade Center in New York City.

Martin and six supporters paced in front of the Vigo County Courthouse on Saturday afternoon, holding signs with statements such as “Sept. 11th was a lie” and “Support our troops, but question both wars.”

Martin, 29, of Rockville, and Jake Munns, a freshman at Indiana State University, have launched TerreHauteTruth.com, an organization dedicated to forcing the government to re-investigate the occurrences of Sept. 11, 2001.
