9/11 was an Outside Job
Jon Stewart Announces "Rally To Restore Sanity" For October 30

The Daily Show host and New York cover boy announced on Thursday night that he will be holding “The Rally to Restore Sanity” in Washington D.C. The rally - which he later dubbed the “Million Moderate March” - will take place October 30.

The event's website describes the kind of attendee they’re looking for:

"Who among us has not wanted to open their window and shout that at the top of their lungs? Seriously, who? Because we're looking for those people. We're looking for the people who think shouting is annoying, counterproductive, and terrible for your throat."

Stewart also promised to have some signs available at the rally, since he understands everyone usually has “shit to do.” He held up a few of them, emblazoned with messages like “9/11 was an outside job” and “I Disagree With You But I’m Pretty Sure You’re Not Hitler.”

the "truthers" turn on Jon Stewart. It'll be ugly.

2. No, I still like him
I still like Bill Maher too. I'm solid enough in my opinions that I don't need everyone's validation. Some people believe what they believe because of 1st hand knowledge, some people believe what they want to believe.

this being physics. Occurring 3 times.

End of story.

9. The only way it would be "near free-fall" is...
if you dishonestly stop the clock when the first debris hits the ground.

12. pffffffffffft
It is the smoking gun. "Just because it looks like a controlled demolition doesn't mean it is one." Ha ha ha ha. Oh my lying eyes. That is why you and your ilk vehemently argue against this theory. Because if the towers were (and they were) demolished via control then all of your other arguments are moot. The controlled demolition of the towers proves that the whole OCT is a complete ruse.

stopping the stopwatch when the first debris hits the ground dishonestly shortens the "collapse time"?

You have got to be kidding me. Let's spend the night debating free fall and all that. NOT!!! Looks like controlled demolition to me. Let's have a poll. All intelligent democrats here chime in and we will watch videos of the towers being imploded. Then we can all vote and have a consensus on the subject. I think it is a wonderful idea.

since at least 400 billion flies love to eat rancid roadkill, let take a poll about how many DU'ers love rancid roadkill for dinner.

when you honestly stop the stopwatch when the last debris hits the ground, one can easily see it was not freefall. Of course, it's difficult to see when the towers have completely collapsed because of all the dust and, well, debris.

I have no question that you're well-intentioned. It's just that your critical analysis skills leave much to be desired.

Do you also think polls outweigh science? I find that rather odd.

it's really pretty stupid for you to deny that there is a legitimate other side to this debate. You're playing a game called "psychic foreclosure"...attempting to win the debate by pretending your goofy claims aren't debatable.

This is just one of the many reasons you're accorded no respect.

in nine years, you've developed no hard evidence of anything. If that isn't "dick", I don't know what is. Of course, you're welcome to waste your life pursuing whatever delusions you want.

Maybe you and D&P could form some sort of support group or something.

8. and you think this means something?
Jon Stewart is an employee of corporate media; he knows where his bread is buttered. When have you ever seem someone in corporate media question the official 911 story and then go on to thrive in their career?

It's certainly not the first time The Daily Show has served up egregious misinformation. They've been horrible about Israel/Palestine, among other things. They're not touching any third rail, that's for sure. It's extremely disturbing that so many Americans consider TDS as their primary source for news. And I notice when JS gets called out on misleading people, he retreats to the "we're just a comedy show" defense. Ultimately, he's a coward and a brazen careerist.

I'm sure JS wishes 911 truthers would go away, since they undoubtedly hound him to do something courageous that comes at considerable personal cost, and we can see he's a company man all the way.

And why was it necessary for him to attack Code Pink in his announcement? Something wrong with confronting war criminals?

24. I'm sure he has questions about it
Supposedly Rachel Maddow knows the truth won't take on 9/11 because it will cause her to lose her job. I imagine Stewart is similar.

Look, anyone with brains HAS to have serious questions about what happened on 9/11, and Stewart is smart.

I remember he was talking about 9/11 recently and he still seemed very pained by it. He may not even want to "go there".

if you have any evidence that either Maddow or Stewart believe that "9/11 was an inside job", please present it.

Do you honestly expect us to believe that if there was hard evidence of your various delusions, it would simply be ignored? Spooked, your capacity for rationalization appears to have no limit.

22. I dunno, I think "Inside Job" is misleading
because it implies "the government" while it is, more likely, global financial interests (and as Deconstruct911 says above; private intelligence)....who, of course, have SOME of "the government" in their pockets (money, blackmail, revolving door into private sector, etc...)
but, yeah, the Comedy Central guys would totally be fired (or worse)if they said anything directly about 911....and after what Mr. Colbert said at the hearing for immigrant farm laborers, I won't say anything bad about the CC guys.
Also, the CC writers aren't dumb and calling it an "outside job" in reference to "Al Ciada"(spellcheck changed it to that) would not really be that concise, since Al-Q was initiated by our own military intelligence guys (supposedly) and I read that OBL, using his anglicized name, made a deal with some guy (who is now in a high security mental hospital) to buy missiles n stuff back in the 80's or 90's...so outside/inside is kind of irrelevant....

Anyway, the sign was probably just a prop given to JS to hold and he didn't even have anything to do with it.:o

25. you do realize that Jon Stewart is a comedian, right?
the sign is kind of dumb, since I though his rally was in response to the tea party rallies, and the tea partiers are NOT 9/11 inside jobbers. They are flag wavers and jingoists, almost exclusively-- not people who are going to blame the govt for 9/11.
