Jon Gold stunt

If you can´t be bothered to watch the whole thing, but really want to leave behind some ridicule and scorn on this thread, I suggest that you go fast forward to six and a half minutes out, and watch the response to his stunt. That should give you plenty of inspiration.

2. Is his comment about their ongoing efforts untrue?
Are you speaking for them now?

3. "he states he speaks for the victim of 9/11" ?
Edited on Tue Feb-01-11 06:43 PM by k-robjoe
I missed that part. Right at the end he says : "This is for the Jersey girls". ( i.e. this *protest* is for the Jersey girls )

Maybe he also said something like "this ( protest/demand for accountability ) is for the victim families"

Is this what makes you say that "he states that he speaks for the victims of 911" ?

5. Right. "I´m here today... etc"
Edited on Tue Feb-01-11 07:06 PM by k-robjoe
I see what you mean.

Then he takes it for a given that the victims would have demanded accountability, and maybe be just as disgusted with the post 911 wars and the authoritarian turn as he is himself. But there seems to be lots of people ( even on this forum ) that aren´t disgusted by it at all.

So it is of course not a given. And it´s certainly not a given that they would agree that "we´ve been lied to".

6. Downing Street
"Gareth Newnham reports:

On Monday 31st January 2011, in solidarity with Jon Gold’s action outside the White House, I took a ‘911 Truth’ sign to Downing Street – the British Prime Minister lives at No. 10 – and sat down outside the gates."

http://911truthnews.com/civil-disobedience-at-downing-street-for-911-justice/

I have been trying to ask some debunkers here, if they have a strong opinion about the post 911 US wars. But so far, I have not found one who is even willing to comment. ( Except one comment : "War sucks" )

It really gives me the impression that the two camps here, have very different mindsets also when it comes to (US) wars.

Maybe some debunker would like to comment on this statement ( from Gareth Newnham in the link above ) :

"A friend said to me once that the only rightful place for a peaceful person to be during times of war is in prison. I think it’s a really interesting statement and one I believe to be true. If every person of conscience, every person claiming to be against the war performed non-violent civil disobedience of this kind, the state could no longer claim to be legitimately democratic. It’s certainly a tactic that I intend to repeat and I hope others explore for themselves."

7. 9/11 was totally un-democratic
it generated this horribly wasteful military spending that could have been used for so many better things, it generated these horrible wars that killed so many, it generated torture that has debased our values. It justified so much, and yet we have "Democrats" here who can't seem to question the very premise of what justified all this horrific evil of the past ten years. It's all very sickening.

Yeah, OCTists have won, haven't they?

Whoo hoo. Congratulations.

8. What's sickening is...
that you can't seem to make the distinction that recognizing your "9/11 was an inside job" goofy bullshit is not the same thing as endorsing Bush's tactics in the aftermath.

Get a clue, dude.
