RIBA comes under fire for hosting ‘bonkers’ 9/11 talk

I guess RIBA and AIA are both in on it as well.

Edit - It should be noted that the title of the article is incorrect. RIBA did not "host" the event, they rented the hall.

"In a statement, the RIBA said: “The RIBA never endorses, sponsors or publicises private events held in its buildings, therefore any perception that this event was associated with the RIBA is regrettable. We will be reviewing our policy on private hire of our building in the light of this event and reserve the right to review room bookings on a case by case basis.”"

I would bet Gage wanted to try and spin it as a RIBA endorsement.

2. I was wrong
I said "I would bet Gage wanted to try and spin it as a RIBA endorsement." and that is not what he tried to do. Instead, he tried to make it sound like he was addressing RIBA:

"“I’m very excited to bring the explosive evidence to the building experts at the Royal Institute of British Architects,” Gage said. “Many are not aware of this information, and once technical professionals see it, they reluctantly, but overwhelmingly, agree that there must be a new investigation.”"

What a lying sack of shit.

4. A bit like the National Press Club in DC then?
They rent out a room to anyone with a cheque, who is then able to sell off a story as 'being reported at the National Press Club'. WND did this recently, so they could tell the assembled crowd of 2 reporters that they were going to sue Esquire.
