At a time when new construction is dominating the market, ACE Elevator undertook what was perhaps, one of the largest, most sophisticated elevator modernization programs in the industry's history. This "towering" achievement took place at New York City's prestigious World Trade Center (WTC), with the completion of the first six members of the elite "Shuttle Fleet."

This project was originally intended to operate with the existing 275kW motor-generator sets that were specifically designed for the WTC project. However, both the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and ACE Elevator Co. Inc. had the collective vision of utilizing cutting-edge, solid-state-drive technology to replace the existing motor generator sets.

All the parties involved felt that implementing this innovation would significantly enhance the elevators' operation and eliminate countless problems associated with the motor generator rotating elements. Although similar technology is used every day throughout the elevator industry, no equipment available at the time met the power requirements demanded by this type of installation.

New technology had to be developed to achieve what was in mind. The WTC shuttle fleet represents, arguably the largest, fastest and most menacing equipment in the industry. The dynamics of the shuttle cars, together with unique logistical obstacles from within the complex, posed challenging engineering and installation scenarios far exceeding the typical modernization program.

3. Just another fraudulent "expert" talking bullshit

First, the truth about Tom Sullivan. This should give you a big clue about AE911truth's "standards" for "expert" testimony.

But then, as always, what really matters is not AE911truth's appeal to authority, which would be fallacious even if it weren't totally fraudulent, but the validity of what he's saying. In this case, Sullivan seems to think that thermite cutter charges have been used for demolitions for years. There's absolutely no doubt that he picked up that nonsense from "truther" sites like AE911truth rather than from his brief experience carrying explosives for CDI, because it's patent horseshit. There are exactly zero building demolitions on record that used thermite, and in fact there is no evidence whatsoever that the cutter charges he refers to actually exist except on paper, much less any proof that they could cut through columns like those in the WTC. Your "expert" is talking 100% fantasy and AE911truth is passing it off as "truth."

And then, his claim about it being easy to rig the core columns with cutter charges if the perps had access to the elevator shaft is also bullshit, and it also isn't original with Sullivan: He's just parroting bullshit that's been floating around Trutherville for years. It might sound like a good hypothesis, but as is typically the case, "truthers" made the claim apparently without even bothering to take a look at the layout of the building. In fact, above the 78th floor "sky lobby," the elevator shafts would give access to only 8 of the 47 core columns:



You want a new investigation, hang a left? How about you start with a new investigation into the bullshit you've bought into? And it would be great if you'd do that BEFORE trying to resell it here. Have you no shame?

think about it - the pile was full of aluminum. The fires were hot enough to melt aluminum. Regardless of whether or not there was molten steel, there had to be large amounts of molten aluminum.
