1. The Movement is a good site.

and the story of those two Indian men is very interesting.

Sure sounds like they could have been a hijacker team. But maybe their other co-hijackers didn't make the flight?

Kind of funny how in your Portland post-- Atta and Al-Omari almost didn't make the flight to Boston.

Maybe it wasn't so important that they made it? How many hijackings were planned and how many were aborted for various reasons?

2. Atta & Alomari may have missed Flight 11

According to the 911 Ommission Report:
Flight 11 pushed back from Gate 32 in Terminal B at 7:40.
...for Flight 11,
they indicated that some passengers "boarded" after the aircraft had pushed back from the gate.

4. Hijackers and San Antonio

How fitting to the San Antonio connection:

In addition, a man named Saeed Alghamdi graduated from the Defense Language Institute at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, while men with the same names as two other hijackers, Mohamed Atta and Abdulaziz Alomari, appear as graduates of the U.S. International Officers School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., and the Aerospace Medical School at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, respectively.
