PETITION OBAMA ADMIN TO: Appoint and fund an independent prosecutor ... to investigate ... 9/11.

we petition the obama administration to:
Appoint and fund an independent prosecutor and impanel a public grand jury to investigate the crimes of 9/11.

Bring the questions concerning what happened on 9/11 into the judicial process where an independent prosecutor, the power to subpoena, and the risk of prosecution for lies can be used to publicly seek answers to why the first 3 steel superstructure buildings in history fell symmetrically at near free fall speed into their own footprints in New York on 9/11/2001 killing 3,000 people. In addition, notify all current/former federal employees and contractors that failure to respond truthfully and completely to questioning will--in addition to any criminal penalties--result in loss of employment, cancellation of pension benefits, and/or voiding of any employment contract. Further, prosecution for lying or refusing to testify for any reason will not be defended by the government.

4. Truthers should get their story straight first.
So now they again claim that all three buildings "fell symmetrically at near free fall speed into their own footprints" (None of that is even true. I guess these truthers have never watched a video of the towers collapsing!).

I thought they were now claiming that the messy collapse and large footprints of the two towers was evidence of explosions.

And if such an investigation was ever completed, the truthers would take the negative results as evidence of an even a greater conspiracy. Of course few in government have any interest in playing the stupid truther games.

Some people are scared that a real investigation takes place.

What is it yall want to keep under wraps? Why keep hiding behind the republicans?

Are you too going to claim "bushco is innocent", or not? I'll take no answer as a "NOT". So then, why run your mouth against investigating bushco?

8. "why run your mouth against investigating bushco"
So you have no interest in investigating 9/11, you want an investigation of "bushco"... Since when does a real investigation have a foregone conclusion? Does not sound like much of an investigation to me.

10. of what?
"bushco" is guilty of lots of crimes, they have admitted to many.

Now, back to the issue at hand, why do you want an investigation of 9/11 with a foregone conclusion and not a real investigation? What are you afraid of?

12. afraid bushco is not innocent?
Bring it on. I know bushco is not innocent when it comes to 9/11.

How guilty they are is the only question.

Why are you against a new investigation?

14. Why are you putting words in my mouth and avoiding the question?
Why do you want an investigation of 9/11 with a foregone conclusion?

Or are you only interested in playing your game of "put words in peoples mouth and accuse them of being bush supporters"?

20. Joe writes this from a few posts ago
"So you have no interest in investigating 9/11"

Which is ascribing words to me, and which the readers here know to be absolutely without merit or any basis of truth, and then he goes on to then say:

"Why are you putting words in my mouth and avoiding the question"

And all I can do is wonder what Joe's agenda is.

Someone else here on the forum has claimed Bushco is innocent, and others dance and dance and dance around the question.

What is it they are afraid of? Anyone know?

Why do you want an investigation with a foregone conclusion? Why are you afraid of a real investigation?

15. What do I have to be scared about?
Do you think I'm part of the conspiracy?

Bush isn't "innocent", but he's innocent of the ridiculous claims of the truthers.

Truthers can't even come up with a plausible alternate scenario on how 9-11 went down. They just conjure up objectively false claims as evidence of some larger conspiracy, such as: the towers fell into their own footprints at near free-fall speed.

5. "We demand a vapid, condescending, meaningless, politically safe response..."
I didn't know whitehouse.gov had a petition section. Pretty feeble.

I can't find the petition quoted in the OP. Was it deleted? Although the Obama administration isn't authorized to fund special prosecutors or impanel grand juries, I'm not sure this petition was more worthy of deletion than several of the others. Yes, I had to facepalm at "the first 3 steel superstructure buildings in history" before I even reached the "own-footprint" canard -- so it's not really a loss, even to the Truth Movement. (And then there's this: "Further, prosecution for lying or refusing to testify for any reason will not be defended by the government." Somehow I don't think that came out quite as intended.)

6. One of the problems with the "vapid and condescending" stuff
Is that some of these petitions have less thought than kids letters to Santa.

Many of the petitioners seem to have not the faintest notion of what powers the president does and does not have.

17. yes, a lot of the petitions are quite awful
I find the idea of that site pretty gimmicky, although conceivably in time it could evolve into something more useful. So I thought that petition was funny -- but not because I think the administration is somehow unfairly trivializing the petitions.

24. No no..
AE911Truth abhors things like this, since it'd mean an end to Richard Gage comfy career choice. He'd go back to having design high school gymnasiums and the like, were it not for the steady income from his followers, and the various pet projects being backed by his organisation.
