Okay, they screwed me but good, and I'm not going to get on a small plane and not have my story told.

The whole "jury" thing at DU3 is a scam. It's going to be automated and require fewer people to deflect, disrupt and otherwise keep a lid on the real story of 9/11.

So, you know what they did?

18. I hadn't -- thanks for pointing it out

I have to admit that my first visit to DU3 left a bad taste in my mouth -- I really wasn't prepared to see TruthIsAll posting yet again -- but the decision to hide my post made some sense. The detailed rules used to say, "We consider it a personal attack to call a liar a liar, to call a moron a moron, or to call a jerk a jerk." By extension, it's a personal attack to call a zombie disruptor a zombie disruptor, even though I thought my tone was pretty mellow. And I really hadn't been paying enough attention to DU3 to know how I was "supposed" to point out this situation.

It wouldn't be a bad thing if DU3 actually managed to instill the level of civility that DU2 aspired to -- or, then again, maybe it would, I'm not sure. It's an interesting experiment, at any rate. But I don't know if I have the stomach for it now. Years ago I got really, really sick of trying to explain that it is possible to be a progressive and still think that Bush got more votes than Kerry, and still be concerned about electronic vote counting. ETA: On that, 9/11, and other issues, I try to be open to the possibility of rational discussion, but it's unmistakable that my expectations here aren't very high. Maybe it's best to leave it all alone.
