Afghanistan Oil Pipeline Basis Of 9-11 Hidden Agenda Schwarz interview
In his book, Schwarz explains that prior to June 26, 2001, “the Bush Administration put India and Iran on notice that he intended to use military force to attack and remove the Taliban from power.” The reasoning, according to Schwarz, was an attempt to “bully the Taliban into letting Unocal and those Saudi partners that have apparently been financing terrorism” to have the Trans-Caspian pipeline across Afghanistan.
Schwarz asks: “Did we just get preemptively attacked and they do not want us to know that? Or, did we attack ourselves so the attack on the Taliban was justified so Bush Buddies could get their oil deals and oil pipelines?”
The author says that Americans were kept in the dark.
“Can anyone recall any of them telling us about that $7.34 trillion oil deal or that pipeline that was so desperately needed? No?” said Schwarz.
In his book, Schwarz talks about the FBI’s lack of interest in capturing certain terrorists, the Administration’s propensity to act in secrecy and keep Americans in the dark, America’s poising itself for another attack, and contracts that make the rich richer and the poor poorer.
Schwarz provides substantial documentation about behind-the-scenes meetings and the “financial terrorists” who stand to gain as they worship the exploitation of oil.
“What I see is a nightmare that is slowly developing into a complete undermining of all I hold dear about this nation,” says Schwarz, speaking of those entrenched in the neo-conservative movement. “I am watching subrogation of power to the whims of wantonly greedy people and in that, a subjugation of the citizens of my nation.”

2. They seem to have lost interest

Afghanistan would profit by receiving millions of dollars in transit fees and construction of the pipeline would provide thousands of desperately needed jobs.

It is also hoped such a project would boost regional economic ties and pave the way for further foreign investment.

The chief difficulty will be actually finding the money to build the pipeline.

The Asian Development Bank is carrying out a study for the project.

But investors will be very cautious about putting serious money into Afghanistan when the central government in Kabul still has only limited influence in the regions the pipeline would cross.

4. Karl W. B. "Bill" Schwarz seems like a huckster
Edited on Tue Feb-15-05 11:36 AM by gbwarming
Take a look at the Arkansas LLCs that he and his (ex?)wife Marilyn have been involved in over the last few years, along with his divorce and property cases on-line and I think you will discover a pattern of shell companies, shady dealings and empty promises. Doesn't mean he's wrong about the pipeline of course, but it calls his credibility into question. His article on the A3 engines in the pentagon was a joke since he identified the wrong engine type for BOTH the A3 and the particular boeing involved.

Edit: He's not a very good liar either. From:
http://www.iconoclast-texas.com/News/07news01.htm
ICONOCLAST: Let’s start with your background. Where did you go to school? College?

SCHWARZ: University of Arkansas Architecture Department. I didn’t graduate. I went there from 1969-1972, going to school there year-round. I got my license in the early 1980s. They had what they called the “equivalency” where you worked two years for every year your didn’t go to school, so it’s a little bit longer to get your license. I got my license in 1981.
---
But from the Arkansas Board of Architects we can see that he was by his own standards NOT eligible for registration since he did not hold a professional degree in architecture nor did he accrue 12.5 years of combined experience before 1978.
http://www.state.ar.us/arch/rulesregs.pdf

1. To be granted registration, an applicant must;
a. Be of good moral character, as verified by employers and registered
architects.
b. After January 1, 1978, hold a professional degree in achitecture from a degree program that has been accredited by NAAB not later than
two years after termination of enrollment
; If prior to January 1, 1978, must have 12.5 years of combined education and experience until January 1, 1978.

5. I found
his A-3 article very dissapointing.

But when you say "He´s an idiot" (Previous thread), not getting the engine parts right, I think you get it wrong. I think he posted those pics as examples - the closest he could find - because he didn´t find pics of those exact parts.

And about his lisence. What is up, are you saying that he didn´t get a lisence? Shall we e-mail him and ask?

6. I stand corrected on the registration
Edited on Tue Feb-15-05 05:24 PM by gbwarming
I called the Arkansas state board of architects and they verified that registration was granted to a Karl Schwarz in 1981 and revoked for failure to renew in 1985. My apologies to Mr Schwarz on that.

Regarding the airplane engine parts, he made a great point of talking about the difference between the A-3 and 757 engines.
edit: link http://www.onlinejournal.com/Special_Reports/020205Schwarz/020205schwarz.html
"It is not a "turbofan" component, it is in fact a "turbojet" component from an US Air Force/Navy vintage type of jet engine technology that was used on just a limited number of fighters, bombers and reconnaissance planes."

Ok, he says the part shown is from a turbojet. A-3s had/have J57 engines which are turbojets. But the JT8D that he shows pictures of to illustrate the point is a turbofan, still in production, and used on 737s but never on the A-3. Why bother to show the wrong engine? Surely not because there are no J57 pictures available. Here's one that just popped up in a google image search http://www.wpafb.af.mil/museum/engines/eng54.htm
Here's a J57 engine manual for sale. Karl's crack team could have found this pretty easily. http://www.eflightmanuals.com/detail/itemList.asp?CategoryGroupID=25
1F-102A-2-4 25 Jan 60/20 Oct 60
Power plant maintenance manual for the Convair F/TF-102A Pratt&Whitney J57 jet engine.

Next, he shows a drawing of a GE CF6 engine and claims it is a 757 engine. It's true that 757's are manufactured with CF6's, but not the one that crashed into the pentagon. According to the FAA database N644AA had Rolls Royce RB211 engines. Another mistake for Mr Schwarz.

I did call him an idiot, but maybe that's wrong. I think these are stupid mistakes for someone who claims to "have had many working on this night and day for three years to get to the bottom of the matter." How can it be explained?

7. Don´t know
His whole thinking around the engine parts is very confusing.

But returning to the oil pipeline, he seems to be right :

"1996 February:
Agreement between Afghan government and Bridas signed. Suit filed by Bridas in Texas against Unocal/Delta for interference in its business in Turkmenistan."

8. Bridas Versus the New World Order
Edited on Wed Feb-16-05 09:33 AM by seemslikeadream
John Imle, president of Unocal (and member of the US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce with Armitage, Cheney, Brezezinski and other ubiquitous figures), lobbied Turkmenistan's president Niyazov and prime minister Bhutto of Pakistan, offering a Unocal pipeline following the same route as Bridas.'

Dazzled by the prospect of an alliance with the US, Niyazov asked Bridas to renegotiate its past contract and blocked Bridas' exports from Keimar field. Bridas responded by filing three cases with the International Chamber of Commerce against Turkmenistan for breach of contract. (Bridas won.) Bridas also filed a lawsuit in Texas charging Unocal with civil conspiracy and "tortuous interference with business relations." While its officers were negotiating with Pakistani and Turkmen oil and gas officials, Bridas claimed that Unocal had stolen its idea, and coerced the Turkmen government into blocking Bridas from Keimir field. (The suit was dismissed in 1998 by Judge Brady G. Elliott, a Republican, who claimed that any dispute between Unocal and Bridas was governed by the laws of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, rather than Texas law.)

Bridas countered by forming an alliance with Ningarcho, a Saudi company closely aligned with Prince Turki el-Faisal, the Saudi intelligence chief. Turki was a mentor to Osama bin Laden, the ally of the Taliban who was publicly feuding with the Saudi royal family. As a gesture for Bridas, Prince Turki provided the Taliban with communications equipment and a fleet of pickup trucks. Now Bridas proposed two consortiums, one to build the Afghanistan portion, and another to take care of both ends of the line. By November 1996, Bridas claimed that it had an agreement signed by the Taliban and Dostum—trumping Unocal.

The competition between Unocal and Bridas, as described by Rashid, "began to reflect the competition within the Saudi Royal family."

In 1997, Taliban officials traveled twice to Washington, D.C. and Buenos Aires to be wined and dined by Unocal and Bridas. No agreements were signed.

Osama bin Laden (who issued his fatwa against the West in 1998) advised the Taliban to sign with Bridas. In addition to offering the Taliban a higher bid, Bridas proposed an open pipeline accessible to warlords and local users. Unocal's pipeline was closed—for export purposes only. Bridas' plan also did not require outside financing, while Unocal's required a loan from the western financial institutions (the World Bank), which in turn would leave Afghanistan vulnerable to demands from western governments.
