The CIA's Internet Fakes
Anyone have an opinion about this article?

http://www.breakfornews.com/TheCIAInternetFakes.htm

by Fintan Dunne, Editor, BreakForNews.com 4th August, 2005

Note: We do not contend that everyone associated with these websites are knowing intelligence operatives. Some have been professionally manipulated, others merely misled. In any event these are promoting the psyop agendas and disinformation themes of the covert controllers. This is also not meant to be a fully comprehensive listing of all the fake websites.

<SNIP> Huge list containing many popular websites like airamericaradio.com and almost every 9-11 or antiwar website that exists.

For the last three years we have been quietly investigating the cover-up of the 9/11 attacks. Ours has been a wide-ranging inquiry which paid special attention to those who claim to be already exposing the truth.

During this time we have interviewed many people with alternative views on who were the real perpetrators. All the while, we kept our own counsel. Much of the time we played it as if we were uncritically buying the lines being put out on various alternative media.

We have examined a great deal of evidence and methodically traced the methods and networks used to mislead us all. Now we present the first of our findings.

...

THE INTERNET POLICE

Here's a quote from a recent article on the UK Guardian:

"The Chinese government, employs an estimated 30,000 internet police, as part of a long-standing policy to control the web so that it can be used by businesses but not by political opponents."

Think the ideology and practice of the USA would be any different? Of course not. Just well cloaked under a veneer of free expression.

1. my 2-cents
I can't think of any reason to think breakfornews.com
is less likely than the sites he targets to be psyops.

I also find it hard to believe that everything is a
fiction and but recently reading Special Tasks
by Pavel Sudoplatov it seems more believable.

It is a very interesting read.

2. WTF? How about a little more detail Fintan?
Don't just dump a list of nearly every progressive site on the web and say they are all contributing to the psy op effort and not provide any details. That sounds more like dis-info than any thing else. I like the comment someone posted on the site saying that Dunne fits all the criteria of someone spreading dis-info, the sweeping generalizations and the failure to address key evidence. Fintan Dunne's stuff should be carefully vetted like everything else dealing with 911.

11. Exactly
Well said. I wrote something long and involved, and then erased it when I noticed that you had summarized it so well. How can we stick it to this guy? Not going to his site would be a good start. Although the list of sites is a cool resource, if only inadvertantly.

3. Air America is a psyops?
one of the sites he lists as a psyop - Oil Empire - ALSO has a list of sites that they say are psyops. He doesn't say how he concludes that they are fake. I hope it's not true. Buzzflash? Democracy Now?

5. no; influenced / infiltrated by psyops

However, looking at the list, i wonder which websites/organizations are not 'fakes'. I see that no .gov sites are listed, does that mean the official CT is the only correct one?
For all i know the OP of this very thread may be psyop.

In the mean time surprisingly little attention is payed to what various 9-11 whistle-blowers have to say. They corroborate that the official CT is hogwash, but as of yet no attempts have been made to discredit them. Save a few exceptions they are being ignored, but much time and energy is spend on discussing over and over again the little material evidence (actually, just photos and videos thereof) that there is.

Who the F**k cares???????

I quit going to his site when he put up that large breasted female'ish image that took fooooorever to load.

THis whole "spread distrust" or "I'm gonna be ontop when this thing explodes" is just sad.

Most realize to be carefull where ever you go on the web.

6. If I wanted to spread mistrust in the 9/11 community...
this is exactly what I would do.

7. no evidence given
At the top of the article, he writes:

"We have examined a great deal of evidence and methodically traced the methods and networks used to mislead us all. Now we present the first of our findings."

In what follows, there is no mention of any of the websites he lists. Not one mention of one website.

.... still waiting on the "findings."

8. wow!
Damn him, he forgot summeroftruth.org. I want promotion too!

(I don't deserve it lately, given no update since Dec., but just you wait.)

He managed to get Nico Haupt's haunts, Wing TV and Angie (to give examples of others who also carry specialty lines in inquisitions against assorted traitors and spies) on the same list as Ruppert, Hopsicker (who nowadays supports the official story), Alex Jones, questionsquestions, Citizens' Watch, 911Truth.org, the marginally insane Tom Flocco, Karl Schwarz, Rense and Jimmy Walter... my man Sander Hicks, Raimondo/Antiwar, APFN, Kaminski, Narconews (! who did Al Giordano ever bother?!), a bunch of Democratic fronts a la MoveOn... Will Pitt, Chossudovsky, the Spitzer petition... our own MinstrelBoy... xymphora... Kurt Nimmo... the podsters at Let's Roll & Von Kleist... amazing!!!

What an awesome diversity of evidentiary presentations, opinions and internal conflicts among these sites. Many of which, in fact, share an identical analysis of 9/11 to Mr. Dunne's.

Why shouldn't the CIA be running ALL of us? What the hell!

Okay, I'll fess up if the rest of you do.

However, he forgot to add the correct title:

A Sampling of 9/11 Skeptics' Sites That Get A Lot More Hits Than Fintan Dunne's - Damn Them!

12. Exactly my thoughts. The guy is idiotic. I think he has completely
destroyed what tiny amount of credibility he had.

Personally I gave up on him a while back when he kept finding faked photos, such as that photos of the top of the south tower were faked to make it seem as if it were tipping more than it really does-- becuase the tipping claim supported the official collapse story.

10. sounds like a great list of recommendations!
:-)
Oh lawks a mercy! Where do I turn now for information?

I am sure that they do try to manipulate us but you would be surprised how many people are thinking for themselves these days.

I try and judge for myself thanks Fintan. When I see a lot of allegations but no facts to support them, why I just set them aside.
