Flight 11 on 9-11 - anyone have info on pilot turning on talkback switch
First plane to hit the WTC and where call from flight attendant Ong came from.

Randi Rhodes has been talking about this. That very early in the flight the pilot had the turned on his talkback switch, so the ATC had to know that a highjacking was occurring. Anyone have a link to this story?

1. Some stories
said that the pilot deliberately flipped a switch.

Other stories said that the hijackers flipped the wrong switch, confusing cabin communication with ATC communication.

Seems to be a speculative issue either way.

A while ago I dug up the right sort of links from google.com

Can't be bothered right now to go through them all again.
