Official story to LIHOP to MIHOP in two easy steps.

(I think I posted this before, but can't find it in a search, so I'll restate it to the best of my recollection)

A lot of people think its tinfoil hat time to suggest LIHOP or MIHOP, because they get bogged down in missing plane theories and demolition charges, etc. (not that any or all of those theories may or may not be true)

but the fact remains, EVEN IF THE OFFICIAL STORY IS COMPLETELY TRUE, it can still be moved to LIHOP and then to MIHOP in two easy, perfectly rational and believable steps.

FIRST:

Assume the official story is true: planes crashed due to a conspiracy of Al Queda cells into the WTC which then collapsed the buildings, etc, etc.

TO MOVE IT TO LIHOP:

Merely add that intelligence agencies, who were already tracking the hijackers, knew in advance of their plans and did nothing.

TO MOVE IT TO MIHOP:

Merely add that intelligence agencies, who were already tracking the hijackers, knew in advance of their plans and actively and intentionally ignored warnings or outright prevented apprehension of the hijackers.


Considering what we know already, that several people within agencies sent warnings up the ladder to certain superiors who quashed the investigation regarding the hijackers PRIOR to 9/11, LIHOP or even MIHOP is well within rational possibility.

To label LIHOP and MIHOP as tin foil theories is flat wrong. Oh, one could argue the merits of ancillary theories, like missing planes and whatnot, but THAT IS NOT THE POINT. The point is whether the govt. KNEW in advance of the attack and either ALLOWED it to happen or ACTIVELY blocked any attempt to interfere with it.

4. Rice, when questioned about the lack of response to reports

of terrorists activities before 9/11 and the lack of response by this administration to those reports, blurted-out that they didn't want to 'swat flies'.

The administration had been openly critical of Clinton's response to OBL's bombing in Africa and the Cole bombing. They criticized Clinton's response of launching cruise missiles at OBL in Afghanistan as 'ineffective'.

Thus, Rice's statement of 'not swatting flies' when taken in context of the criticism of Clinton's response meant they would not waste time by 'swatting' small flies.

And as such, the deliberate ignoring of information that terrorist would attack was used to a political purpose. Let the terrorists give their best shot at us, and the inevitable attack, would piss-off the American people and they would then give Bu$h the authority to do what he wants.

I don't know what else to call it, other than LIHOP/MIHOP, this 'not swatting flies' statement by Rice.

Edit: I think though, Bu$h was played, so were the terrorists. Somebody placed demolition charges in the WTC. So to Bu$h goes LIHOP. But somebody else, here in the USA gets the MIHOP status. But who was it? I suspect it was Cheney/Rumsfield that played them all as chumps.

These guys pulled a modified Operation Northwood to make money.

2. Add to this the obvious lies and coverups in the 9/11 Commission Report

If the Official Conspiracy Theory is true, then why should there be a problem with doing a real, exhaustive investigation of 9/11, as opposed to the whitewash we got?

For example, why no mention of the wargames going on that day?, no investigation of the insider trading?, etc., etc.

6. LIHOP/MIHOP

I don't understand the hair splitting between LIHOP and MIHOP. If they let it happen; they made it happen. People who claim they are in the LIHOP camp are just people that haven't fully come to terms with the reality of it yet.
