Transcripts don't record sounds; and your audio link provides the commonly available files, woefully incomplete -- and redacted recordings (the "beep" covers up the caller's part of the communication.).

9. I remember hearing that Air Traffic Control tapes were destroyed...

...but I can't remember the details, other than it was a totally unprecedented occurance. Those tapes are NEVER destroyed. Anyone remember the details of this?
