How about a 9/11 political party
Just an idea. I'm not american so I don't know your system that well but surely there's some mileage in the idea.

1. Unfortunately, in this country we don't believe in any more than
two parties. There will have to be a grassroots groundswell of enormous proportions by average Americans to force election reform on the power duopoly of Republicans and Democrats in order to challenge their authority. 9/11 could and should be the galvanizing event for such a movement because it is the grossest example of the duopoly's betrayal of our nation.

3. Charlie Sheen is in the public eye
Allowing for the two party system you have, I note there has still been some independent candidates over the years.

Why not try and convince Sheen to run?

4. there have been some that have managed to run...
but no more than a sporadic handful have been elected. The election laws are so stacked against anyone outside of the two parties that it's extremely difficult to gain any traction. In fact, the election laws are so stacked to favor incumbency that it's virtually impossible for any major challenge to come from within a particular party to change it's direction in a meaningful way. The system is locked up tight, both inside and out.

2. Some Green Party candidates are running on a 9/11 truth
platform. Sander Hicks is running for Senate in New York. I think someone's running for Congress
in California.
