2 arrested in fatal Uptown shooting

Police arrested two suspects Monday in the fatal shooting of Michael Zebuhr last month in the Uptown area.

Authorities would not say what the suspects' roles were in the March 18 shooting in the 3100 block of Girard Avenue S., but Capt. Rich Stanek said they would be booked for probable cause murder.

A woman and a juvenile male were arrested without incident about 5 p.m. near 33rd and Emerson Avenues N., according to police. Stanek said no suspect weapon or car were recovered in the arrest. Police said they are looking for more suspects but did not say how many.

A news conference about the arrests was scheduled for sometime Tuesday.
Remington confirmed reports that police circulated a memo last week saying they were zeroing in on a male suspect who had a warrant out for his arrest. Authorities would not say whether that same male was the one arrested Monday.
