Weren't press videos of attacks in Manhattan essential to building the government's case for new and extraordinary policy?

Wouldn't one think that footage of an attack on the Pentagon would even further galvanize the American people in favor of any government reaction???

Seems that any actual footage rightfully belongs to our record of what happened. I don't know when the Pearl Harbor footage was released, but I don't think it was a state secret. What could be the reason for not releasing? It only feeds conspiracy theories.

8. The Moussoui case is being used to withold the pentagon video footage.

Notice how both Mousssoi and the US goverment create conditions within the case that make the trial to run and run.........and in doing so....the Pentagon video evidence remains unseen by the outside world.

That footage maybe the achilles heal of the whole 9/11 official story as we know it.......

How it is that the FBI was able to so quickly determine the video tapes needed to be rounded-up?

We hear how very difficult it was for this organization (FBI) to identify the terrorists before 9/11, yet in this case, amid the confusion of the attack on the Pentagon, here we have the FBI going around and gathering the visual evidence within minutes of the event. I tell you, those agents that did this must have had a 'premonition' about all this, to be able to respond when they did.

Then again, maybe it wasn't a 'premonition', maybe they knew it was going to happen. Maybe the only people that didn't know what was going to happen on 9/11 were the outsiders to this administration.

Do you suppose Reagans 'spiritual' advisors told the FBI what was going to happen?

16. About the video tapes . . .

We know they confiscated them. We know why they confiscated them. All the tapes show something other than UA flight 77 going into the Pentagon. We also know they don't ever want to show them.

They (the BCF gov) are already screwed and stuck between a rock and a hard place. Why the need to confiscate the video tapes and hide them from public viewing? What's there to hide? Not the truth certainly. The 5 frames or so released, already prove that a 757 did not go into the Pentagon.

If the tapes are never shown and are ultimately destroyed -- we know they confiscated them, we know they have them (they admit it), we know they held them from public viewing as evidence in a trial (so they say), and for them to now destroy them (or have destroyed) would be just another guillotine to chop their heads off with politically speaking.

No matter what happens, it isn't good for them. Isn't that just a cryin shame?

Let the theories get some steam then 'release' fake pictures which kill the messenger, so to speak.

Isn't this what happened to Rather, on the AWOL stuff. They forged copies of the real papers, released those fakes then exposed the copies as fakes with the faked font, yet the AWOL original papers did show Bu$h was AWOL. Thereby, discrediting Rather and the story.

19. I heard the fired producer of that story interviewed

on Pacifica a few weeks ago and she says that the fonts in the documents were available on typewriters of the era.

She also claims that the documents were authentic and that nobody's proven that they weren't.
